'English, which is a plus not a must, in Thai society, is never an outdated issue to be discussed, especially when the world is made smaller by technology and the internet. Besides, 10 ASEAN countries will ofcially become a unied community in 2015. Thus, English, which is considered as the world's international language, becomes more important. As the Thai government has put an effort to develop English communication skills of Thai students, 'Tae', one of those who gain a lot of advantage from possessing outstanding English skills, is obliged to share his ideas and comments about English teaching and learning in Thailand in this issue of 24/7.
